Ducat Place III has been developed by Hines in conjunction with the firm's Emerging Markets Real Estate Fund II and a private investor. Founded in 1957, Hines is one of the largest privately held real estate development, investment and management companies in the world. From its beginning, Hines set new standards for the highest levels of quality and professionalism in commercial development, developing more than 700 projects including stunning skyscrapers, premier corporate headquarters, mixed-use centers, industrial parks, medical facilities and master planned communities. The firm is headquartered in Houston, Texas with offices throughout the United States and 16 other countries and has a current portfolio in excess of $25.8 billion.
Hines opened its Moscow office in 1991 and is active in the office, retail and residential property sectors. The firm currently has in excess of 500,000 square meters under management and was responsible for the development of the prestigious Pokrovsky Hills residential community.
Emerging Markets Real Estate Fund II ("EMRE") is a discretionary investment fund sponsored and managed by Hines and Trust Company of the West. The fund has committed equity of $436 million and is the follow-on fund to Emerging Markets Real Estate Fund I. Together the funds have a total equity capitalization in excess of $800 million and were created to invest in real estate primarily in emerging markets. EMRE has made investments in Mexico, South America, China, Western and Eastern Europe and is also the source of financing for Hines' Pokrovsky Hills residential project in Moscow.
